Quote of the Day

I don't mean to imply, incidentally, that absolutely everyone who takes their clothes off for a living is desperate, miserable or exploited. That's the cliche, but really - can you name a profession in which there aren't people who are desperate, miserable or exploited? Which would you rather do? Strip for a camera now and then, or work full-time in an office sitting beside a perspiring Coldplay fan who spends each lunchtime getting bits of moist cheese-and-onion crisp in his goatee and chortling over his Facebook messages?

Easy. Strip for the camera. I'd die in a grind like that.

Do you ever get the Dilbert comics in Britain? If not, check it out:

I'm on that page. With Dilbert.

Merry meet...

I love the Dilbert blog! It's one of my favourites... ;)

Oh, that's right, I'd seen it on your blog Mylissa.

I got started on my spiritual path because of Scott Adams. No kidding. Well, if you're on the blog you might not find it so remarkable at that. He put something into one of his books, Dilbert in the year 2000, a final chapter talking about some strange things including luck and affirmations and belief... And one thing led to another. I once emailed him personally and told him all about it, thanking him, and he was even kind enough to respond. So it will likely always be my favorite comic.
